Working in the fashion, design and luxury sectors, StudioSmall are a London based design agency who do strategy, art direction, branding, design, print, packaging, and digital. Their impressive client list includes such brands as Margaret Howell, Sunspell, Heal’s, and Johnnie Walker.

Having worked together on a project for Gillies Jones, they approached me to build their new company website to showcase their work.

The designer provided meticulous desktop and mobile designs for every page. I then built the site in WordPress to allow the designer to add all the content himself. The designer was also involved in rigorous testing of the site, to ensure that all aspects remained pixel perfect across different browsers and screen sizes.

I learned a lot about design working with StudioSmall and how, as they’d say, “less is more”.
