A new website and identity for Mosodi, a consultancy specialing in highways and sustainable mobility

Mosodi isn’t your typical engineering firm. With a fresh, dynamic approach more like a boutique consultancy, their new website needed to reflect that unique character.

Having worked with them previously on the 1dayaweek site, I was brought in to design and build the new site from the ground up. With only a logo to start, I had full creative freedom to shape the branding.

I created a bold, flexible colour system, assigning each section its own palette, and chose two complementary fonts for clarity and style. Animations were used throughout — from a homepage CSS animation telling the story behind their name, to a suite of animated SVGs representing their services. I also built a CMS-driven component that displays data as an animated bar chart.

The result is a vibrant, energetic site that reflects Mosodi’s focus on movement — both in their work and their way of thinking.

After the launch of the site, Mosodi asked me to help them roll out the new branding across all their communications. I first created a 33 page Style Guide, detailing fonts, colours and logos, as well as illustrating how to apply the brand to reports, stationery, presentation decks, and social posts.

Second, I created a Brand Toolkit. This contained html email signatures for all staff, logo variations, a suite of icons and Word document templates. I also created a “Brand Kit” in their Canva account, and many Canva templates for different types of media.
