Linda Blackburne is a journalist, editor and tutor. She needed a creative website to showcase these services.
Linda provided a host of images and cuttings to demonstrate her inspirations: comic strips, cartoons and the surrounding rural countryside. I used these to pin down the website’s look and feel, and worked closely with Linda to devise ways to tie large photography and bold headlines together in funny ways.
In addition to being a Wordsmith, Linda is also a painter. In a second version of the site, we added new sections to allow her to promote these other projects. I included functionality enabling Linda to sell art cards and posters from the site using Paypal.
