Musician, Artist, and Muse, Daphne Guinness, was due to appear as the cover feature of The Observer Magazine in April 2023. Since this was likely to result in increased traffic to her official website, it was decided that it should be given a complete overhaul in time for the publication.

While you could purchase her fragrance, “Daphne”, from the site, information relating to her upcoming releases and previous music needed to be integrated in a more prominent and impactful way. It also needed to be easier for fans to find and watch her videos.

I was approached by A Common Purpose, her design and branding agency, to help with this task. My initial role was to source a new Shopify theme and add extra features that the theme didn’t cater for out of the box, while following the design guidance provided by ACP. In 2024, we added more features to the site, including the ability to purchase music from the store, and connect with online music streaming services. In the future we hope to add additional merchandise and a blog.
